FIXED-SCOPE ENGAGEMENT
The Stage 1 Diagnostic
One structured review that maps your entire HR and WHS position and tells you, in writing, what matters first. Fixed scope, fixed price, no ongoing commitment. You keep the report either way.
WHAT WE EXAMINE
Three lenses over your whole operation
People and pay
Which industrial relations system you are actually in (in WA, this is not a trivial question), which awards cover your roles, whether classifications and rates hold up against the current instruments, and whether your contracts say what the law requires them to say.
Safety systems
Whether your safety management framework covers your legal duty of care: policies, risk registers, consultation, training and competency records, incident readiness and the documentation an inspector would ask to see first.
Exposure and priorities
Where the gaps are, what each one could cost you, and the order in which to close them. Not everything is urgent; the report tells you what is, what can wait, and what is already fine.
WHAT YOU RECEIVE
A written baseline you can act on - or take elsewhere
-
Report
A written baseline of your current HR and WHS position, in plain English, with the legal basis stated for every finding.
-
Plan
A prioritised action plan ranked by risk and effort - what to fix this month, this quarter, this year.
-
Yours
The report is yours to keep whether or not you engage us further. No strings, no gatekeeping.
Fixed price by headcount band, confirmed in writing with GST treatment stated before we start.
WHY THIS FIRST
The cheapest mistake to avoid is the one you find yourself
Most employers discover their compliance position one of three ways: an inspector's visit, a claim, or an audit they commissioned before either happened. The third is dramatically cheaper.
The Diagnostic exists so that your first engagement with us is bounded and low-risk. You are not signing up to a subscription or an open-ended consulting arrangement. You are buying a defined piece of work with a defined output, performed by the principal, at a price agreed before we start.
If the report shows you are in good shape, that is a genuinely useful thing to have on file - it is evidence of due diligence. If it shows gaps, you will know exactly what they are, what they cost to close, and in what order. Either way, you are making decisions from a documented baseline instead of a guess.
